Food & Beverage Positions

Pastry Chef - Prepare desserts, cakes, Danishes, muffins etc for daily use.  Work with the sales & catering manager to create cakes and various pastries for special events including weddings, conferences, and banquets.

 

Bartender - Pour and serve drinks in various food & beverage locations on property as well as working in special events.  Bartending positions are also available on the Canyon Princess.  Experience serving alcohol is recommended, general wine knowledge is a plus.  Must be 21 or older to serve.

 

Cooks Helper - Assist in the cutting of vegetables and fruits, preparing salads and other various dishes for use by the chefs later in the day. Kitchen experience recommended, knowledge of kitchen machinery and knives also recommended.

 

Busser - Clear all dirty dishes away from tables, assist dishwasher in prepping to be washed.  Assist wait staff in food & beverage operations including setting tables for breakfast/dinner, getting salads, bread, beverages etc.

 

Cashier - Close out all customer orders placed in the Rainbow Room, work in the Castle Rock Cafe deli, as well as Bene Pizza.  Cash handling skills are required.

 

Java City Attendant - Make coffee and sell pastries/sandwiches to customers.  Java City coffee consists of numerous flavors of lattés, mochas, and various other coffee products.  Ideal candidates will have experience making and serving coffee and cash handling skills.

 

Dishwasher - Scrape, rinse, clean, and put away all dirty dishes including pots & pans.  Job requires heavy lifting and repetitive motions.

 

Host(ess) - Assist guests in finding their table.  Take all reservations from guests and accommodate as best as possible.  Assist servers when needed.

 

Line Cook - Prepare and cook the menu for the guests.  Jobs can be on a regular cook's line, on a buffet, or on the Canyon Princess.

 

Pool Bar Worker - Work at the pool bar at Wahweap Marina.  Responsible for the serving of both non-alcoholic drinks and alcoholic beverages to guests, as well as serving hot dogs, brats, and burgers.

 

Sous Chef - Helps the executive chef in day-to-day operations.  Ensures food quality and food safety.  Plans daily specials and controls food costs.

 

Waitstaff - Serves the various menus at food & beverage locations.  Jobs can include Rainbow Room server, Canyon Princess server, Bene Pizza cashiers, and banquet servers.  Jobs can also include off-site catering and beach events.  Must be 21 years of age to serve.
