What are the methods of transportation to and from Bullfrog?
Bullfrog is very remote and the closest drop off location for Greyhound and Amtrak is in Green River, UT about 2 hours away. We provide a Shuttle from Green River to Bullfrog for $25 per person that is payroll deducted. The Shuttle runs only on Monday afternoon, so it is recommended that employees fly into Salt Lake City Airport and travel by bus or train and arrive in Green River Sunday night or early Monday morning. The pick up point is the Roadway Inn which also happens to be the drop off point for Greyhound. Please keep in mind if you are going to utilize the shuttle and arrive before Monday or after 4pm on Monday afternoon there will not be a shuttle arriving until the following Monday, so please be prepared to spend the night(s) in Green River.
If you are driving to Bullfrog, you will not find it on Mapquest. Please use www.randmcnally.com for driving directions to Bullfrog, UT 84533
If I don’t have a car, how will I get around?
During peak season, April-October, Bullfrog provides a property shuttle. Shuttles are mainly utilized for guests, so please be patient when calling for a shuttle. The walk from the dorms to different departments is less than 1.5 miles. Employee trips throughout the summer will visit nearby national parks and sightseeing destinations as well as shopping trips into Grand Junction. Most likely you will make many friends and some will have vehicles.
How do I receive mail/packages?
There is a Post Office in Bullfrog that is open Monday-Friday from 10:30am to 2:30pm excluding holidays. There is no mail service on Saturdays. Seasonal employees may use the general mail box for up to month then they must apply for a PO Box. The cost is $1 per key.

Receiving packages can be a challenge. We strongly suggest using UPS to ship personal packages if it cannot be mailed to a PO Box as they are the only delivery professionals that come here Monday-Friday. FedEx Ground can take up to 3 weeks to get here. DHL does not come here and uses the Post Office as their back up delivery system. Packages not mailed to the Post Office are delivered to the warehouse and are available for pick up Monday-Friday during business hours. The physical address is:

Please anticipate having to add at least 1 day on to an expected delivery date.
Will my cell phone work there?
The
only good answer to this is maybe. We do have a multi-provider cell
tower on the lodge, but service is very sporadic and sometimes may
not work at all depending on the weather. The providers with the
best service are Verizon, Alltel and T-Mobile. AT&T/Cingular
will usually only work if you have a Cingular phone. If your provider
is not listed then your phone will probably not work here.
