Pre-employment Background Screening
Effective August 23rd 2010, some positions now require a pre-employment drug test and credit check. These additional pre-employment screenings are based on job codes. The positions effected by these new requirements are as follows:
Housekeepers/ Laundry Workers (Drug Test)
Maintenance Workers (Drug Test)
Front Desk Agents (Drug Test)
Wilderness River Adventure Guides (Drug Test)
Security Guards (Drug Test)
Office Worker (Credit Check)
Accounts Payable Clerk (Credit Check)
Money Room Attendant (Credit Check)
Warehouse Worker (Credit Check)
Housing : We offer shared dorm rooms to employees. Employeesmust be at least 18 years old to qualify for housing. There will be no exceptions. Local residents do not qualify for Employee Housing. If the employee lives within 60 miles of Wahweap, they will be considered local and will not be eligible for housing.
Once an employee has been assigned housing they must agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the housing office as well as all Federal and State laws. Failing to do so could result in the termination of housing privileges and/or employment.
Family housing is not available on property.
